Today we got out set 5!! Usually when we move on to a new set we take the first day to just explore the set.
We pulled it out and discussed which shapes we saw. I introduced the prism which was a new word for them. I tried to say prism every time so they got use to hearing that word and picking up the triangle shaped one. After that we talk about what we could build with just this one set of blocks.
Roo made a castle! She was quite happy with how it turned out. 
Doodle made a walk way for her fingers, which her fingers were a prince and princess. We sang the song from Aladdin- Prince Ali while she walked her fingers through.
