KK is finishing up the letter Ff. I made these fish with Ffs and other letters on them. 
She had to pick out the letter Ff fish and put them in the 'water', her blue paper. 
Our Spielgaben lesson today was whales. I made the body for Buddy and while I was helping KK he pulled it apart. Honestly I didn't mind and didn't make a big fuss. I thought it was great that he was sitting with us and exploring. Reminder he is only 1. 
Here KK is helping me make the body. 
I put the black and white part together for her, and she put it on the whale.They said it was the whales gills, but whales are mammels and don't have gills, therefore we called them baleen. 
Finished product, she was so proud. 
Here is our whale, again don't mind the bright pink eye, we didn't have any google eyes. Don't let things like that stop you, just improvise, your kids will never know the difference.

These are the books we read for the girls Spielgaben lesson. They our still in set 5 and made a purse. 
We also watched a little video of the Lady with the Alligator Purse on Youtube.com for fun! Just trying to bring in a variety of materials to interest the kids. 
Here is Roo's finished handbag. They enjoyed this activity, but I really think both the older girls like that I have brought books into their lessons. What do you do to enhance your lessons?
